Waldo County Technical Center

 

Building Construction is intended to be a two-year course of study.  Units of instruction include wall and floor framing, exterior wall coverings, roof construction, doors and windows.  Realistic work experience will be provided for students.  A more advanced program is available to second year students who qualify. 

Second year students do building layout, rafter construction, and focus on more detailed building construction.  Work related decision making is stressed for second year students.
