Became a licensed Apprentice Electrician in 1976.
Graduated Eastern Montgomery County Technical School (Electrical Trades) in 1978.
Entered United States Coast Guard in 1978. Served, sailed, and lived in such as Hawaii, Guam, Alaska, Trinidad, Mexico, Nova Scotia, Bermuda, Cuba, Haiti, Barbados, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico, NJ, NYC, Coast Guard Academy, and The USCGC Thunder Bay in Rockland. Served in duties as engineering officer, small arms instructor, coxswain, dignitary protect at tthe 1984 Olympics and maritine law enforcement. Retired in 2001 as a Senior Chief Electrician.
Worked a Journeyman/ Master Electrician in residential and commercial in the mid-coast area. Enjoys fishing, boating and cycling, having completed the Trek Across Maine several times.
Became instructor at WCTC in 2008.
